Halloween Window Shopping

The governing fantasy is that Vintrowear will begin selling vintage costume apparel beginning Halloween 2014.  Since current resources are applied toward cowboy shirt acquisition and sales, our buyer made purchases from Vice Versa Vintage, only in her imagination.  Our imaginary 2013 Fall Collection would have included:

Hop on Pop Shop! Keith Haring Magnets!

Amazing!  Puffy!  We have this week a rare and unique item – Keith Haring puffy magnets in their original packaging.  This is a virtually unblemished set, purchased in the heyday of the 1980′s, straight from the Pop Shop.  You must see.

There would be more photos, but they turned out beastly because Mrs. Vintrowear can’t figure out how to get a good shot off her camera in low lighting.

We also last night had the good fortune to meet Cousin Craig’s friend, drummer George Sluppick, who was wearing an awesome JC Penney vintage two-toned with calico print yoke.  Yes, there are photos.  Yes, the photos turned out blurry.  But yes, he wore it well.  He also gave me a button.  It’s got a wizard riding on an eagle.  I gave him a VW button.  It was a great night.

It’s been a long, long drought baby

But tonight the rain’s pourin’ down on our roof.  As long as the damn thing doesn’t start leaking again, we’ll be just fine!  On January 29, 2012, Vintrowear began its great southernward migration, camping out along the way, enduring privations and hardship, an arduous months long journey to reach the land of milk and honey: Brooklyn.  Take us home, Flat Rate!
